Complete Guide to the Star Wars Commander Troops (Rebels)

We’ve already talked about the Star Wars Commander Heroes for the Rebel side, and now it’s time to get a bit more in depth with the troops in the game and check out their stats and ratings. I am sure that this article will actually prove to be a bit more helpful to Empire players, who will finally understand and see the stats of the troops of the Rebellion and will be able to compare them with their own troops. This Star Wars: Commander Rebel troops guide should also be helpful to those who are planning a new strategy and want to see the basic stats of their troops, as most of the data in this article has been taken before troop upgrades came into place.

Please note that because the game doesn’t show us the exact values of unit multipliers (based on their specialization), I don’t have the exact data regarding damage these troops cause to buildings or units they are specialized against, and probably there will be no such info available too soon. However, as long as you see that a troop has a specialization (Favorite Target), it means that it will cause a lot more damage when attacking that specific target and it will also attack it first, ignoring everything else (also meaning that the unit will often go through enemy fire to reach its destination).

So with 18 different types of troops and Starfighters to choose from, the Rebels offer a huge variety, with a greater focus on infantry units which are more powerful than the Empire units (while the vehicles have worse stats). I have gathered all the information about the Star Wars Commander Rebel troops below, with screenshots of the base stats and the descriptions, to make it easier to know everything about these troops.

So without further ado, here is the complete guide & stats of the rebel troops in the Game:

  1. Someone in my squad wished someone had pictures of the various enemy turrets at their various levels. Basically to see what you’re getting yourself into when you’re scouting someone. Might be an idea for another article.

  2. does anybody know how to determine which infantry member the medic droid will repair?thought I had it figured out but I don’t, please help me

  3. Can anyone answer my question? I started an empire squad but people can’t join. They can’t find my squad. Help

    • I might be a little late…….
But I will say this: Be sure your squad status is ‘Open To All’, that way people can join. You can also set medal requirements and such.
If you are still looking for an alliance, look up Hot Pockets. Its not my alliance, but my friend ( Majestic Marcos) is the leader. It is a request only alliance, but I can talk it over with my friend and see if it is OK if you join.
But the most likely scenario is that by now you have your own alliance or you have joined one. In that case, I bid you good luck. Long Live The Emperor.

  4. This might be me, but I did not see any wookies…….does that mean they are imaginary? Because if they are, I have been defeated a billion times because of invisible (or invincible) troops. Its probably me, I just wanted to be sure.

  5. I have to say this again: Where are the Wookies? I just got destroyed by 10 of those stupid things. Wookies are to overpowered.
I play Call of Duty (as owenonekenobi) and this is how I can put this in a perspective for you: The Empire has a pistol. Not even a good one. Let’s say the worst pistol ever. What do the rebels have? A Wunderwaffe. Probably Pack a Punched. And, they have a freaking Thundergun. Empire gets a terrible pistol, Rebels get a Wunderwaffe and a Thundergun. Both Pack a Punched. How is this fair? We don’t even have a fighting chance on defense. Not a very good one on offense. Our AT-ATs? They suck. They won’t shoot Jack diddly. Instead, they freaking glitch out! They up 30 capacity in the unit transport. 30!
How much to the Rebels’ Juggernaut take up? 20. They can stash- no hoard- they can hoard 4 freaking Juggernauts in a unit transport. That’s the thundergun. And the Wunderwaffe? Wookies. Always Wookies. Wookies are to overpowered.

    • Totaly agree there medic droids are far more powerfull ours get shot at straight away totally unfair advatage
